This set of four cases was designed as part of a conversion project for this vehicle. The rear "plus 2" seats were removed and the space made into a parcel shelf (see Picture 1). It was into this space we designed two large suitcases, each 27" x 20" and 6.5" deep. Two smaller cases were made to be used as shoe cases, vanity cases or however the customer saw fit. These were 9" x 20" and 6.5" deep. One of each sized case was fitted with a red top, the other having a black top, allowing the user to distinguish between his and hers if required. It also allowed the customer to decide whether to display more red or black behind the seats, as circumstances dictated. Red bands round the edge of each top give a pleasing aesthetic contrast when the cases are fitted in the vehicle. Use of the parcel shelf in this way freed up the existing boot space to enable other items to be carried. Although not pictured, luggage straps were supplied to complete the effect.
